Parent/Family Coaching
Your kid has ADHD, you may or may not have ADHD, your co-parent may or may not have ADHD, other siblings may or may not have ADHD. This parenting thing is no joke. It’s tough. Add ADHD into the mix and the challenge just ramped up exponentially. I am a trained ADHD Coach, a single Mother with ADHD, with a co-parent with ADHD, with 2 kids with ADHD. I’ve been there and around the block a few times.
I’m here to support you talking to your kid (s), getting home life sorted out (chores, cleaning, paperwork, getting along) and supporting your kid(s) education (talking to teachers, IEPs, assessments, talking to medical providers. Add to all this being in charge of everyone’s wellbeing (eating, sleeping, hygiene, mental health).
If one person has ADHD in a family - there are already challenges that take some navigating and learning. But that’s not likely - there’s probably one parent or more, more than one kid. Home life is likely loving and a little chaotic.
I’m interested to teach about ADHD and coach families on how to best live and work together to thrive as a family and individually. Let’s make your home life a haven for every member, understanding how each one operates. Understanding what’s happening in an ADHD brain can make all the difference between an issue becoming a fight or an opportunity to brainstorm a better solution.
We can do a series of individual coaching sessions with several whole family meetings. I can custom design some learning sessions and/or facilitate family meetings to set up some structures and routines to support the whole family.
I’ll listen to your needs and propose some options.
